REAP THE BENEFITS

Increase Turnover and Margin with cycle counts

XILE Clothing - Scotland

Consisting of 3 flagship stores and part of the JD Fashion Group, XILE clothing is Scotland's premium clothing retailer.  They approached Scanmatix to help with their end of year stocktake.

Their stores in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Livingston all needed to be counted in the same day.  Preparation involved mapping out each store into temporary bin locations allowing easy tracing should an area have been missed, or if there appeared to be an anomaly in any scans.  Due to Scanmatix being able to work independently of their EPoS system, Xile were able to trade throughout the day of the count.

Ahlan Avenue, Riyadh - Saudi Arabia

Ahlan Avenue is located in Terminal 5 at the King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is managed by Aer Rianta.  They currently use an industry leading ERP system, that comes with its own stocktaking component.  This component was based on the Windows CE legacy platform and it was felt a more modern approach was required to combat inefficient time consuming processes.

When asked to solve the 'impossible', the team at Scanmatix managed to cut time allowed for the stock take by almost 30%, whilst allowing the busy airport duty free to continue trading throughout.

ClosetLondon.com - England

Closet London do things differently... from the renowned European fabric mills to their local factories, all their garments are still lovingly designed in their London Design Room, just as they have been since 1996.

Scanmatix were approached by Barrington's Stocktakers and Valuers to be the Technical lead and software provider for the combined job at Closet London.  The brief was to count a warehouse of old season stock, that had built up over a number of years.  Estimates were 4,500 bin locations and around 250,000 units.

We saved over a day in staff costs compared to our in house system, which actully saved us money when looking at total costs...
